STV Glasgow caught up with Corey backstage before their show at the SSE Hydro on January 18th. Here’s what they had to say:
“Performing to sell-out arenas across the UK, the fearsome Grammy award-winners are back on the gig circuit after a long six year break.
Roaring tracks from the highly anticipated .5: The Gray Chapter will be the first new material fans have heard from Slipknot since the 2008 album All Hope Is Gone.
The new release chronicles the four years following the death of bassist Paul Gray in 2010, one of many hurdles the band have had to overcome in the past decade.
It’s been a long road back to the spotlight for Slipknot, and they’re pulling out all the stops for Glasgow.
We know, we caught front man Corey Taylor backstage.”
